Getting ready for your teaching career
Workshop in Cooperation with the ZLK and the PostDoc-Office
This workshop addresses future and early career teachers who would like to tackle basic approaches and questions related to teaching in higher education, such as: How do students learn? What is my role as a higher education teacher? How do I go about drafting a course concept? How do I get a teaching contract?
Interactively, we will discuss what you can do to get ready for your teaching career and what you need to know to develop didactically sound course concepts. Participants will have the opportunity to work on their own course design between the two workshop dates, which will then be presented and discussed.
Learning Outcomes:
Workshop participants will
- have acquired basic knowledge about teaching and learning theories
- have reflected on their understanding of teaching and learning
