Course packets & Publications
Course packets and publications make it easier for learners to deal with the subject matter in depth, even outside the course and in autonomous self-study phases.
Analog course packets and publications can be digitized by scanning. So that scanned materials can also be processed by assistive technologies such as screen readers and are therefore accessible, it is necessary to use programs with an OCR function. When digitizing teaching materials in terms of accessibility, the Center for Integrated Studies can provide support. If you create your course packets yourself, these can either be made available in common file formats (e.g. as open text files or PDF documents) or created as interactive course packets directly in Moodle. In any case, please note that copyright-protected works may only be used for teaching purposes and only be made available to a closed group (e.g. in a Moodle course). Use existing Open Educational Resources to save resources and/or make OER available yourself via the OER portal of the University of Graz.
