Teaching: Excellent!
The teaching award of the University of Graz
The teaching award "Teaching: Excellent!" has been awarded at the University of Graz since 2009. It honors committed academics who are enthusiastic about their teaching. At the same time, it aims to make outstanding teaching methods and instructional designs visible and initiate the discussion of educational designs and trends.
Each academic year, the award for excellent teaching has a different focus which is usually announced on the website in December. The public award ceremony for the winners takes place at the beginning of November as part of the teaching award ceremony.
Courses for the summer semester 2024 can currently be nominated for the University of Graz Teaching Awards until June 2.
This academic year, we want to focus on the students' learning process, which is why the focus of the 2023/24 teaching awards is "Strengthening strengths and learning from mistakes".
